Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday 13th
February 2008
The meeting started on time in the Woodpecker bar and was
attended by some of the members with some appologies from others. There were lots of ideas for trips and activities for the
coming year but we still have had no one coming forward to be Treasurer even though we had advertised and e-mailed the members.
Until this state is reached the club will be unable to bid for monies for the coming year and allthough we still have £800
plus in the Bank!
We still would have problems without the correct structure laid
down by the HASSRA organisation. " The Treasurer has to be a DWP/DH person based at Quarry House or valid Leeds Buildings
and be a Full HASSRA member.
Jane will be E-mailing the Members soon and unless someone or more
than one comes forward we may well just revert to a Named Club but with no real powers of operation. Just the ability to borrow
books or equipment that are the club property.
